We grow by learning and we learn by falling short. Being vulnerable doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. It’s the shame or anxiety about being vulnerable that opens us up to difficulty.
Let’s face it: life throws curveballs. Every important decision that we make, we make with insufficient data. So, there are times when we are distracted, misinformed, or operating on erroneous assumptions. The only way that we are caused to adapt is by course corrective feedback -mistakes – and successful people are the ones who learn and adapt, not the people who scramble to avoid responsibility for their choices. Read them with an eye toward does this work for you. We aren’t talking about right and wrong, or even good or bad, but look for what works effectively to get you toward your goal.
